Our visitors are as important as our plants. This Botanic Garden is a place for people to encounter and enjoy Australian native flora.
Initially the Arboretum was thought to be a project that would be of interest in the local Shoalhaven community. But as the Garden developed it quickly became apparent that people from much further afield were also interested in the native plants on display here. So it has become a destination for visitors from all over Australia and sometimes other countries.
We extend a very warm welcome to all visitors - whether you come for a serious botanical experience, or to just enjoy something beautiful that refreshes the soul.
