Plant Sales
Plant sales contribute significantly to the fundraising efforts of Shoalhaven Heads Native Botanic Garden.
This is an important income stream for our community organisation: it is made possible by produce from our Plant Nursery; it enables us to meet maintenance costs; and it contributes to funding new projects. All of which are the work of our volunteers. And all plant sale proceeds are re-invested back into our Botanic Garden project.
We are able to offer a large variety of good quality native plants at modest prices, mostly in the range of $5 to $20 each. These photos illustrate some of the plants that are usually available.
Major Plant Sales are held at the Botanic Garden twice yearly, normally in early February and early August, over a 4 to 6 hour period on a Sunday morning. Details will be posted on our Facebook Page and are given broader publicity in the Shoalhaven area during the lead up to these events.
Our Next Plant sale is scheduled for the 27nd October 2024 click here for more information
Individual plant purchases can also be made by calling in to the Botanic Garden on any Monday morning between 8 and 10 am when our weekly working bees are in progress.
